On the White Mountains of Bartlett, New Hampshire, Attitash Mountain Ski Area has 68 ski runs spread across two peaks, Attitash and Bear Peak.
With 311 acres of varied skiable terrain and a 1,750-foot vertical drop, Attitash Mountain Ski Area is a great place to learn to ski, but it also has runs to challenge more experienced powder hounds.
For the first-timers, Attitash provides ski lessons for ages 3 and up. If you are more of an experienced rider, the resort holds private lessons for those looking to improve their skills. You can also practice your skills at one of the three Abenaki Terrain Parks at Attitash: Bear Mountain, Kachina and Myth Maker. Make sure to book your lift tickets online in advance, as you will likely find discounted rates.
Attitash is an Epic Pass resort.
Attitash usually opens for the season in early December and closes the first or second week of April. For most snowfall, you will want to visit Attitash during the months of January and March. December and April are the times that you will want to avoid as the mountain averages about four inches or less of snow.
