Surrounded by the Sawtooth National Forest in Albion, Idaho, Pomerelle Ski Resort provides skiers with 24 expertly groomed slopes and two terrain parks.
Pomerelle is relatively small with about 500 acres of skiable terrain, but with 500 inches of annual snowfall, you can ensure some great ski runs.
Get your skiing in early as Pomerelle Mountain Resort is usually one of the first ski resorts to open for operation during ski season. Whether you are a beginner or a more advanced rider in need of a refresher, Pomerelle hosts group or private lessons for ages 7 and older. With a paying adult, children ages 6 and younger can hit the slopes for free.
Pomerelle’s season generally lasts from late November to early April. The highest snow accumulation – about 15 to 20 inches – usually occurs in February or March, so you will want to make your trip out to Pomerelle during those months. If fresh powder is what you’re after, you’ll want to avoid a December or January visit, as Pomerelle sees fewer than five inches during those months.
