The 6 Best Ski Resorts in Wyoming

While only home to a handful of ski resorts, Wyoming boasts some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the country. The Teton Mountains are known for its dramatic vertical drops, ample snowfall and epic views. What’s more, Wyoming’s untamed terrain is ideal for backcountry skiing, as well as cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort attracts most of the attention due to its ample amenities. But those familiar with Wyoming know that the state houses a number of smaller resorts with a more local vibe. And while cascading slopes characterize the Cowboy State, Wyoming ski resorts cater to all skill levels. Plus, many offer excellent ski schools for those new to the slopes.
